Shock as Renowned South African DJ Gunned Down in Johannesburg.
A prominent South African radio and club DJ has been shot dead in the nation's economic hub Johannesburg, sending shockwaves across a nation struggling with entrenched crime.
Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, was gunned down in the central business district on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said the forty-year-old media personality was accosted by three individuals, one of whom shot at him before running away.
The purpose behind the shooting has not been established and no arrests have taken place, police said.

Police revealed that Stock was attacked as he was exiting a building near the Carlton Centre.

Police added that Stock had an weapon on his person and no items were stolen during the attack.
